Canoe Building Underway!

Youth involved in Alcatraz Canoe Journey 2019 work on the early phases of constructing an outrigger canoe. The canoe’s design is a gift from Hawaiian canoer and boat-builder Kiko Kitagawa-Johnson. Work is underway at Waterside Workshops in Berkeley, CA.
